Chapter 12 Example of Teacher!

In afternoon, we continued unit 7 definition and classification because we haven't finished it yet in the morning. After that, teacher stared unit 8 Exemplification. She explained the lesson about meaning of exemplification, transition words and phrases and commonly used abbreviations in text. There are many exemplification markers such as for example, in other words, namely, to illustrate, to demonstrate. specifically, for instance, a case in point is, another instance of and here are a few examples. Then, teacher assigned us to do text 1 to complete the diagram and highlight the exemplification marker. I think this exercise is easy because exemplification markers is easy to find such as for instance, for example, another example of and finally. Then, we stared text 2 to match the place with the activities in the diagram. It was easier than last exercise because I find the place before find activities. After that, we did exercise 3 to and answer the questions correctly in multiple choices. It was about hazards in the home. We stopped at question 6 because it was a time to look at my friends' videos. I really enjoyed and excited in these videos. I think this unit is not hard because exemplification markers is easy to find and if you can remember that markers, you can do this exercise or test. Lastly, I think 6 hours study of this subject is not so long because teacher always make a warm atmosphere in the classroom. So, I don't feel stress anymore. I think it is a important thing to do in the classroom when I be a teacher in the future.

Chapter 11 Definition and Classification

On Monday 23 March, we started unit 7 Definition and Classification. Teacher explained the lesson and examples. I think it was very hard because it's hard to find and remember the definition and classification markers. There are a lot of markers such as category, class, component, division, group, section, sort and type. Definition is a description of something, but classification is a group that something is divided into. I felt confused about this lesson because I couldn't find the markers. Next, teacher assigned us to do skill practice 1. It was about definition and it was hard to find definitions. Then, we started skill practice 2 about classification. It was easy to find markers, but it was hard to draw a diagram to showing the classification. Then, teacher assigned us to shown the answer in front of the classroom. We stopped this lesson because it was lunch time. I worried about this lesson because it was really hard and had a lot of markers. I think it was one of the hardest lesson in this subject. However, I need to practice more to pass the final test because I don't want to get a bad grade. If I get a bad grade, my parents will mad at me.

Chapter 10 six hours study again!

In afternoon, I didn't do the question in the afternoon break because I have to do my Japanese work. Teacher continued the lesson at skill practice 2. Then, I couldn't do the question because I can't find the cause and effect markers. They hardly to find in the paragraph .After I watched it carefully, I can do it. After that, teacher explained about the effects of stress. I think it is just not cause and effect lesson. but it is the life knowledge that you must know because it is very important and valuable. Lately, teacher let us to watch recipe video of my friend. I think this lesson is the hardest lesson in this subject although teacher told us next lesson will be more harder. I think that every lesson can be east if you try your best and be patient. 






Chapter 9 Men vs Women

On Monday 16 March, teacher told us result of midterm test. I got 47/60 point, I was very proud because I try my best to do the test. Moreover, the result of the test isn't bad. Next, teacher continued the lesson "Comparative and contrast" at Men vs Women : Do they speak the same language? by Deborah Tannen. But, I don't think so because nobody speaks the same language. after the lesson, teacher answered questions. In my own words, Deborah Tannen writes her book to  break the misunderstanding between men and women. I think this lesson is easy if you can read paragraph clearly. It's depending on knowledge of each person. However, I need to remember a lot of discourse markers in comparison and similarity such as conversely, notwithstanding, equivalent and to differ. Teacher assigned the question in reacting to the reading and this is my answer.


This is my opinion about American people and Thai people.




After we finished this lesson, she started the cause and effect lesson. Next, teacher assigned us to make the cause and effect sentence to partner. My sentence is I can't go to the beach because I have to go to the hospital. Then, teacher asked my me to share an idea to the class, I felt so stress. Next, teacher explained a list of cause and effect markers such as influence, outcome, consequence, reason and result. After that, teacher assigned us to do a skill practice 1. Teacher let students to answer the questions.

Chapter 8 Midterm Crisis

On Monday 9, March, first, we had midterm test. I think it was easier than latest test. After we have finished the midterm test, teacher continued lesson Unit 5 Comparative and Contrast. I could not concentrate on lesson because I felt stress about the test. Then, teacher assigned us to shared ideas or answers with partner and wrote in on the whiteboard in front of the class. When we finished hurricane exercise, teacher told point of the latest test. I got 23/40 point. I felt wonderful because I try my best but I will read more books.

Chapter 7 Oranges vs Apples

After we had a hardly test, teacher answered exercise 4 from unit 4. Before started lesson, teacher brought 2 apples and 1 orange. Then, teacher asked us that what is different? and what is similar? Apples and oranges are fruits. Apples are green and red but oranges are orange or yellow. The apples skin are thinner that orange skin. Both of 2 fruits can make juice. Moreover, both fruits are delicious. I think this lesson is very difficult because student must know a lot of word. Additionally, this lesson is apply knowledge from latest lesson Descriptive. I have to study harder than past to pass this exam!
